Recipe
Servings: 8-10 flatbreads
Preparation time: 5 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins
Ingredients
400 gr. Self-rising Flour
400 gr. Greek Yoghurt
3/4 tsp. Salt (optional)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Parsley, chopped (optional)
Method
In a big bowl add greek yoghurt, self-rising flour, salt and mix.
Dust a surface with flour, turn out the dough and knead for a minute, until a soft dough-ball is formed. If the dough is sticky, add a little more flour.
Wrap in a plastic wrap and set aside to rest for 30 minutes.
Unwrap dough and divide in 12 pieces. Roll out each piece, approximately 4-5 mm thin.
Spread a frying pan with some olive oil (1/2 tbsp) over medium heat. Add flatbreads, one at a time, and cook, turning after 1-2 minutes or when bubbles are formed on the top and darken on the underside. Cook for one more minute. Repeat until all flatbreads are cooked.
Spread with some extra virgin olive oil.
Optionally garnish with chopped parsley.
