Super easy, homemade, crispy oven-baked potato wedges with amazing flavor. Pair them with your favorite sauce and enjoy as a side dish, appetizer or snack.
Homemade baked potato wedges are so easy, quick and tasty to make, that you don"t have to use store-bought again. This recipe serves six as an appetizer and four as a side dish.
How to make Potato Wedges
Wash and cut the potatoes.
Coat in extra virgin olive oil.
Season the wedges.
Bake until crisp & golden.
How to cut wedges
Cut a potato in half lengthwise, then halve each half, so you have 4 pieces. If they are too thick, halve each piece again. Be sure they have the same thickness, so that they will be baked evenly. Easy, right??
What to serve with Potato Wedges
Potato wedges go well with almost any kind of protein such as grilled meat or oven baked chicken wings. You may also serve them with your favorite dip like ketchup or an avocado cream sauce and/ or just sprinkle them with some grated cheese.

Method
Preheat oven to 220 C (430 F). Line a large baking sheet pan with parchment paper.
Wash potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels.

Stir together salt, black pepper, paprika garlic, thyme and oregano. Sprinkle over the potato wedges and toss to coat.
Transfer potato wedges to the baking pan and be sure they aren't overlapping.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, then remove from the oven, turn over the potato wedges, put them back in the oven and bake for another 20 minutes.
They should be golden, crisp and fork tender.
Serve with desired sauce and enjoy!
